Manawatu Branch
The Manawatu branch is a very active branch serving Manawatu, Horowhenua, Wairarapa, Hawkes Bay and Rangitikei. Bushcraft and River Safety courses are offered for adults and a Duke of Edinburgh programme is offered with adventurous journey training courses and shadowing journeys at Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Manawatu monthly meeting: First Monday of each month (except January) starting at 7:00pm by Zoom, contact Chair for link to join, all welcome. Meetings scheduled on a statutory holiday are held the following Monday.

Manawatu River Safety
This one-day course is designed for hikers and Te Araroa Trail walkers - to help plan for journeys that may involve rivers, to develop river safety skills including hazard assessment and river crossings techniques.

Manawatu Bushcraft
This course is designed to provide fundamental knowledge, skills and confidence for adults with little or no New Zealand bushcraft knowledge or experience to commence their activities in the outdoors more safely for a one-day or overnight hike.
